Heather Gibbons, Civil Litigation Attorney – Championing Your Legal Battles.

Heather Gibbons spent over a decade as an in-house director, manager, and attorney leading claims and subrogation efforts with a large national carrier.

Heather’s passion for high-stakes litigation and drive to innovate in the subrogation space led her to Noma Law Firm. She is excited to use her knowledge and experience to provide personalized service and superior outcomes to the firm’s clients.

Heather has a robust background in litigation having handled hundreds of cases from initial pleading through resolution. Her philosophy of proud preparation and partnership led to favorable outcomes with the highest ratings in the company for customer satisfaction.  As Director of Claims Litigation Management, Heather directed litigation strategy for claims units in 12 states.  With her keen understanding of business objectives and legal principles, Heather has the unique ability to add value by creating synergy between legal efforts and carrier business unit operations. This led to the reduction of costs by 21% and decreased case life by over 40%.

As Manager of West Coast Subrogation Operations, Heather was directly responsible for management of litigation and subrogation counsel, leading to favorable outcomes: multiple verdicts in favor of the carrier, recovery of fees post-trial, and millions of dollars recovered in the Camp and Butte California wildfires.

Heather holds a Juris Doctorate, a Master of Business Administration, and a CPCU designation.

Heather is a passionate proponent of authenticity in the workplace and continues to evolve as a student of DE&I. When she is not reading or litigating, Heather can be found playing with her dog in the ocean or outside enjoying new experiences with her young family.
